I have taken part in gymnastics since the age of 5 competing in ‘women’s artistic’ right up to the first Covid lockdown. I then made the transition from gymnastics to cheerleading in 2020. I have competed across multiple categories and difficulty levels and for the last two seasons I have been in the international team ‘Eclipse Allstars EAC’. Training is three times a week for multiple hours each session and requires dedication and determination to bring to the floor my best at every session. This has paid off for the past two seasons, with huge success at every competition.

What I love most is the friendship circle it has opened up, girls who think the same about the sport as I do.  We cry, laugh and work hard together,  I just love being part of the team at EAC. This season I have been fortunate enough to help coach the L1 team and I couldn’t be more proud to help contribute to the younger girls’ development. For anyone wanting to get involved in cheer I would definitely encourage it. It has given me the opportunity to travel to the USA, compete all over the UK and helps guide me with my own personal growth and development.
