Bohunt Farnborough has been named the winner of the Community Champion Schools Award at the Rushmoor Community Awards, recognising the School’s outstanding commitment to making a positive difference both inside and beyond the classroom.
The award celebrates schools that go above and beyond to support their local communities through volunteering, partnerships, fundraising, mentoring, environmental initiatives and family support. It recognises the vital role schools play not only in educating young people but also in building stronger, more connected communities.
The award was presented by Deputy Lieutenant Mrs Kennelly during the Rushmoor Community Awards ceremony. Organisers praised Bohunt Farnborough for inspiring ambition, shaping character and creating opportunities for young people to thrive while making a lasting impact on the wider community.
The award is a true testament to the dedication of Bohunt Farnborough’s staff, students and wider school community, whose shared commitment to service, inclusion and community engagement has become a defining feature of the school.
