Bohunt Farnborough joins the Bohunt Education Trust family

In January we joined the Bohunt Education Trust family and changed our school name to Bohunt Farnborough.

We are the ninth school to join the Trust and we look forward to working with them to set the highest expectations, nurture students’ individual talents and interests to help them achieve their full potential as game-changers.

After careful consideration, BET was selected as the school’s new partner, based on its similar vision and values, and the high expectations it holds for the students, colleagues and schools within the close-knit trust.

By being part of the Trust, the school will benefit from enhanced training; bolstered senior leadership capacity; best practice sharing and personal development support; increased facilities and resources; and a whole range of wider opportunities.

The School has been on a strong journey of improvement in recent months, and school and trust leaders, along with the wider community, are looking forward to embracing the opportunities that this new partnership will bring.

Sarah Palmer, Headteacher, Bohunt Farnborough, said:

“We are thrilled to be embarking on the next chapter of our school’s journey, and long-standing history. Being part of Bohunt Education Trust, and having the opportunity to collaborate with other schools, will hugely benefit and enhance the provision and opportunities that we can deliver for our students, colleagues and our community.

“It has already been a fantastic experience collaborating with the Trust and our school community on the positive developments and opportunities that are set to come in the next few months and we are looking forward to working with everyone to make this next step a huge success.”

Neil Strowger, Trust Leader of Bohunt Education Trust, said:

“We are elated to be welcoming Bohunt Farnborough and all of its students and colleagues, into the Bohunt Education Trust family. BET and our schools have a shared vision and values which closely align with the school’s. We are looking forward to working in greater collaboration with one another as we seek to deliver the highest quality education, and opportunities, to all our students.

“We have the highest ambitions and aspirations for what we can achieve for the Bohunt Farnborough community, and would like to thank everyone for their active collaboration and enthusiasm for working more closely together so far.”
